In a video shared widely across social media, the fan explained that despite the end of a six-and-a-half-year relationship, he has not had a single bad day since Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Wales in March to kick off their unforgettable journey.
"I haven't had a bad day since March 26. We beat Wales on March 26 and then a week later we beat Italy. I swear to God, every single day – coffee with my boys, drinks with my boys."
He then revealed the unexpected twist that made the clip go viral.
"My girlfriend of six and a half years broke up with me. I miss you a little bit, but I'm telling you – not a bad day."
The supporter said the breakup happened immediately after Bosnia's victory over Wales, but joked that the timing could hardly have been better.
"She broke up with me the day after Wales. Every day has been a good day, bro. She picked the perfect time to break up with me because we're at the World Cup and everything is good."
The humorous interview quickly spread across social media, with thousands of fans praising the man's optimism and sense of humour.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's historic qualification for the World Cup knockout stage has sparked celebrations among supporters across the globe, and moments like this have become part of the unique atmosphere surrounding Sergej Barbarez's team.
With the Dragons now preparing to face the United States in the Round of 32, Bosnian fans will be hoping the good days continue a little while longer.
